Help - Charity?

You know, one thing I'm learning from all this is that you can't expect people behave well without set rules. One of these rules should include what is consider a "charity auction".

Charity auctions are not a call for donations or support for whatever you are doing - players can do that in game on their own will and shouldn\'t be asked. Charity auctions are auctions in which you sacrifice something valuable of yours (possibly offer to draw an avatar or give away a collection) whereas the meat received from the auction goes directly or almost completely to a charity organization or others (ie. Selling your Crimbo set for meat that you will use to support newbies in a special event).

Yes, supporting your clan is fine as long as the auction is for something that your clan is personally offering (ie. Selling clan-made chow meins or buffs for a month to raise money for a TPS). Note that these contributing "clan members" should not be simply multis under one clan roof, or there might be consequences ; ) ~Keripo
